WHAT TO EXPECT

Any corporate video needs to have a story, a why? Once we know this we can work with you to construct the ideas, shots and general flow of the video to help achieve your vision.

Whether it’s a video to explain to potential customers why they should pick up the phone and speak to you or showing people why they really need your new product in their lives.

WE MEET YOU OR SPEAK WITH YOU

All good things start with a conversation, it’s good to grab an hour and just chat through your aims and ideas so we can get a good idea of what you are looking to achieve. From this we can get a clearer picture of how your production will come together and what would be involved.

AGREE A SPEC AND BRIEF

Following from our meeting we will then agree a specification and full brief for what we will be delivering for you. This will include, the type of video(s) we are producing, the aim of the video(s) and a rough outline of what might be included and involved.

WE QUOTE YOU

This is the part where we give you a figure that will be more than you want to pay but less than we want to charge and hopefully we come to an agreement that we can move forward with.

WE CREATE A SHOT LIST

This will be a guide as to the shots and type if shots we are looking to capture. This will be largely based around the brief and aims of the video. Things like talking heads of various staff, specific shots of the office or or products being used etc…

WE FILM YOUR VIDEO

So this is where the real work starts, we can put away the pens and calculators and get out the cameras! As we come as a two man team we are always able to capture everything from different angles and make the most of the filming time available to maximise our options when it comes to editing.

EDITING YOUR VIDEO

Now things start to get really serious, this is where we take all the footage we have shot, all the audio we have recorded and anything else supplied or obtained for the project and cut it all together into an edit or multiple edits depending what is required.

“How long will it take to edit my video” is something we get asked a lot, a simple three minute video can sometimes take as little as six hours to edit while a more complex three minute video can require 30 plus hours of editing, there a ratio similar to 5:1 based on needing five days to edit one day of footage. So it can take time but we know you will be more than happy with the results!
